What does this mean?
Just measure the widest part of you stump where it was cut.
Do I measure the expsosed or surface roots?
No, but special doesn't cover expose or surface roots further than 6 inches from stump. We do include the root flare area.
Will I be charged for additional stump size or exposed or surface roots/
Unfortunately, it is very possible that an additional charge can be added. That is one reason we come look at stump to mark it for 811. We don't want any surprises. It's a free service to mark and call 811.
what about mulitpile stumps
We give multi stump discounts. A second 18-inch stump would be discounted a minimum of 40%. Will be included in free estimate.
If you two or three small stumps that combined are less than 18 inches, we will offer you the special price.

Mark stump for 811
We mark stumps and file an 811 request for locate. This will mark utilities in the area the work is to be done.
when do you grind the stump?
In most cases 811 needs 72 hours to conduct their location service. We schedule stump grinding at your convivence within ten (10) days following 811 service.

Stumps close to Stuctures
Many cases we can grind stumps next to structures such as foundations, sheds, fences, and concrete. There are some limitations in the special. If any stump is to close, we can discuss options during your free estimate.
What if the stump grinder can not access stump?
We wouldn't be able to grind a stump that is not accessible with this special.
We will do everything possible to grind stumps that are less than 18 inches on the cut or even an inch or so more. Our goal is to grind your stump so your yard will be free of stumps. We will do our best to offer the best service at fairest price.
